Throw Your Hands in the Air

Ever get so frustrated that you just feel like your spinning in circles with no end in sight?  Life’s weight has just gotten to be too much and all you want to do is cry.  Seems like the only thing to do is just throw your hands in the air.  Here’s an idea…just do it.

We all go through periods of time in our lives where things just seem overwhelming and difficult.  We feel like a pressure is building in our heads and nothing we do can fix it.  Sometimes we get at a point where we just have to take a step backward and just accept that things are hard.  There is value in taking time to let the realization that things are tough wash over you for a bit.

Now I am not suggesting that we should not address our problems.  We all have to deal with our own challenges in our own way and in our own time.  Life’s problems don’t go away by simply ignoring them.  However, sometimes choosing to completely immerse ourselves in our problems and not taking time to clear our heads and bring our stress levels down first can cause us to not be able to think logically or rationally and leave us spiraling out of control.

And believe it or not, there is such a moment of bliss when we get to the “ah, the heck with it” stage.  Sometimes it’s just letting it pass.  Other times it’s just the need for a good hearty laugh.  Even if only for a few seconds, just let it go and understand that sometimes life hands us hardships.  Congratulations…you are still a part of the human race.

When things get rough today, just take a moment to say “this sucks!” and let it go.  There’s an answer on the way…we just have to give it an opportunity to get here.  Thinking with a straight head and eliminating some of the overwhelming stress makes dealing with difficult times much easier.
